The King Family is growing by one... 

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family since before Colton was born.  :)  I am super excited that they are having a little girl!!  Colton is going to be such a great big brother!

Birds. :)

I just love sitting on my porch listening to & watching the birds.  My son & I both love to look in our bird book & read about the birds we see.  My mom loves birds & her dad also had a love for birds.  I like to try & capture them when they are flitting about.  The other day I was able to photograph a bird we had never seen before, an American Redstart.  When I checked the bird book, I found why we had never seen it before....it rarely stays still.  It is always busy, flitting here & there getting food, guarding the nest, etc.   God is so amazing to give us these beautiful creatures called birds.  People like to say, "Take time to stop & smell the roses.";  I say we should also take time to stop & admire God's handiwork, the bird.  :)
