This is my friend, Christan & her precious family.  She has 4 of the most beautiful girls & such a sweet patient husband.  I was honored to photograph their wedding & absolutely love seeing them!

Birds. :)

I just love sitting on my porch listening to & watching the birds.  My son & I both love to look in our bird book & read about the birds we see.  My mom loves birds & her dad also had a love for birds.  I like to try & capture them when they are flitting about.  The other day I was able to photograph a bird we had never seen before, an American Redstart.  When I checked the bird book, I found why we had never seen it before....it rarely stays still.  It is always busy, flitting here & there getting food, guarding the nest, etc.   God is so amazing to give us these beautiful creatures called birds.  People like to say, "Take time to stop & smell the roses.";  I say we should also take time to stop & admire God's handiwork, the bird.  :)
