Mediocre Camper renovation..

Image
So, I decided I wanted to redo our camper.  It all began with my husband removing the valances from over the windows.  Ha.  He had no idea what he was getting into!  :)  I am a cheapskate, so I went in our garage to see what kind of paint we had left from painting the bedrooms...   I found a dark grey and immediately decided to take the doors off all the cabinets and paint those grey.  My idea was to keep it simple and FREEEEE! These are all the before pictures...  --------> This is what I ended up with..... and I was quite pleased with myself.  :)   BUT my husband and children didn't like the oak cabinets with the grey doors.... So we went and bought white paint!  I took all the doors back off again and we painted all the cabinets white.  My daughter and I also picked out a cute navy/grey/white shower curtain and bath mat set at Walmart....  After seeing the grey and white, I decided I didn't like the counters anymore!  LOL  So I got online

Canned biscuit apple pies...

Canned Biscuit Apple Pies Cube 2 or 3 apples Melt 4 tbsp butter and sprinkle with apple pie spice and/or brown sugar.  Cook until apples are soft.. S Take your canned biscuits and roll them out flat.  Place a small spoonful of apples into the middle. Use a fork to press edges closed..  Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.  Mine all came open at the end but they were still tasty.  You can sprinkle with powdered sugar fresh out of the oven or mix up a caramel sauce by melting butter and brown sugar together in a small pot.  These are super easy and cheap to make.

CrockPot Apples?!

I had several apples that were in danger of going bad just sitting on my counter.  My husband and daughter said they were "too grainy".  I got online and found a recipe for crockpot apples.  Now, I never actually follow a recipe.  I tend to get ideas from them and then do my own thing!  Here is what I used to make my apples.   I cut the tops off of my apples... and used a spoon to dig out the middle.  This was interesting.... I melted about 4 tbsp of butter and then mixed in around a cup of granola.. I was only preparing for 4 apples. (I love using baby spoons in my kitchen, how about you?!) I found this spice in my cabinet and sprinkled a tablespoon on my granola/butter mixture. I then stuffed my apples with the mixture..... I put the apples in my crockpot on high for 4 hours.  Then I remembered that I FORGOT the brown sugar!  So I unceremoniously used my hands and sprinkled a bit on each apple.  :)  Cooking..... After 4 hours this is wha

This little guy is from a very special family.  I was so happy his Mommy called me up and asked me to do his newborn photos.  Mr. Dax Hall was 3 days old when these photos were taken.  He was such a great little model... after he finally fell asleep!!  He was so wide awake for the first hour and a half of his session.  We finally were able to get him to sleep and then the fun began!
