CrockPot Apples?!
I had several apples that were in danger of going bad just sitting on my counter. My husband and daughter said they were "too grainy". I got online and found a recipe for crockpot apples. Now, I never actually follow a recipe. I tend to get ideas from them and then do my own thing! Here is what I used to make my apples.
I melted about 4 tbsp of butter and then mixed in around a cup of granola..
I was only preparing for 4 apples.
(I love using baby spoons in my kitchen, how about you?!)

I then stuffed my apples with the mixture.....
I put the apples in my crockpot on high for 4 hours. Then I remembered that I FORGOT the brown sugar! So I unceremoniously used my hands and sprinkled a bit on each apple. :)

It was quite delicious, if I do say so myself. If you have some apples lying around, give it a try!
